The Holy Mass

Explained to Catalina by Jesus and Mary

Catalina Rivas of Cochabamba, Bolivia, who now dwells in Mérida, Yucatán, México. She is said to receive Messages from Jesus, Mary, and the angels. She has the approval of her Bishop, René Fernández Apaza, who has given his imprimatur to her Messages. The following text is the reproduction of booklet, “The Holy Mass,” in which Our Lord and Our Lady explain to Catalina what is really going on during the Mass in the spiritual realm, and how we should be more concentrated on the great mysteries that are taking place.

Bo. Daniel Gagnon, OMI, of the Commission for the Doctrine of the Faith of the Archdiocese of Mexico, wrote about this book: “I do not find anything against the faith or the customs of the Church. It is not my function to confirm its supernatural character; nevertheless, I recommend it for its spiritual inspiration.”

The testimony of Catalina on the Holy Mass

crucifixIn a marvelous catechesis, the Lord and the Virgin Mary have been instructing us first on how to pray the Rosary, that being to pray it with our hearts, and meditate and enjoy the moments when we encounter God and our Blessed Mother. They have also instructed us on the way to make a good confession and, in this document, a teaching on what happens during the Holy Mass and how to live it with our hearts.

Stunned By Truth

st paul conversion Acts 9:3,4 “Suddenly, There came a light from heaven all round Saul. He fell to the ground, and then he heard a voice saying, ‘Saul, why are you persecuting me?’”

1. The search for truth should be of the utmost importance to you. Every truth, strictly so-called, ultimately leads you to Christ.
2. The search of truth would only lead to Christ if the one searching allows God’s grace illuminate the dark way before them.
3. Saul only saw the resurrected Christ because he wanted truth to prevail, even if he had as yet no true Knowledge of it (Acts 9:1).
4. Christ speaks today through His Church, through Christians who live out the teachings of the Gospel in a spirit of love. Take their words seriously.
5. The Holy Spirit is always active in the world. He speaks to every heart, no matter how depraved. It is, however, a matter of choice to listen and heed His voice.
6. Christians who have embraced Baptism, receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit: Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, Fortitude, Counsel, Piety and the Fear of the Lord.
7. The presence of the Holy Spirit occasions a change of heart and a willingness to do God’s will (Acts 9:6).
8. We who have received Christ as “cradle Christians” (Catholics) take it for granted. There is a danger of familiarity that prevents us from experiencing the power of grace.
9. When the scales finally fall from our eyes, we recognize Christ in the Scriptures and in the Eucharist, where he longs to nourish us (Jn 6:53).
10. The power to live for all eternity comes from God and He hands it to us under the appearance of bread and wine in the Eucharist (Jn 6:54)
